It’s been a long time since the last post. End of Lies is at the 80%-completed level. I recall reading long ago the writing secret of a famous (forgot who) thriller author. He said he let the characters do what they wanted until he hit 80,000 words, and then spent the last 20,000 words tying up loose ends and ending the book. I didn’t start out to write EOL in that fashion, but that’s how it seems. This third installment takes place in 2016 in the run-up to the US presidential election. Our man Nolan faces Chumakov, Coulter and a sinister secret organization Higher Love. Bob’s family is back in the thick of it, Ryder and Hecker are roped in and even Yu Kaili puts in an appearance. Aiming for November publication. It’s another action-packed adventure that takes us from the high desert of California outside Area 51 to the streets of the nation’s capital and then onto San Antonio and the Alamo.
